Eligibility

Inclusion Criteria:

The inclusion criteria for the present study are patients between the ages of 16 and 55 with the presence of MLKI. There are two aims within the study. Aim 1 requires patients to have MLKI present within 6 weeks of injury and Aim 2 includes patients where timing precludes randomization to early surgery and/or patients refusing randomization.
